Essence is the infinite truth of being expressing itself as the subtle form of the soul. Just as pure white light that passes through a prism transforms into the spectrum of colors called a rainbow, the infinite which is beyond all form or description transforms into a spectrum of essential qualities called soul. Examples are: peace, love, happiness, strength, beauty, creative intelligence etc. When a soul is transparent or translucent relative to a particular quality of essence, the source of its light can shine through it reflecting the quality of this essence. Prior to awakening, one can experience qualities of essence, and can work on this level. After awakening, if one is called to fully embody all aspects of one’s own essence, the process of liberating the mental-emotional veiling of essence typically continues and deepens for many years.
